When renovating The Brewery Blocks at the entrance to Portland's Pearl District, an area known for soft lofts
and converted apartments, Realty Trust City and Gerding Edlen Development saw an opportunity to provide the district's first true condominium homes with traditional floor plans. And to follow through on The Brewery Blocks' promise of a well-planned mixed-use community, our marketing campaign focused on small events and relationship building instead of traditional advertising or street signage. Enthusiastic buyers, impressed with the sales process and the sophisticated homes, referred new buyers to the project until The Henry's 123 luxury condominiums completely sold out within 31 weeks. Additionally, our collaboration with Gerding Edlen Development and GBD Architects, and our shared focus on environmental stewardship, led The Henry to become the second building in the country to earn the coveted LEED® Gold certification.
